Our Story

Our Roots: From the Red River to Coffee on the Red

Coffee on the Red was born from a deep connection to our hometown and a shared love for quality coffee. We grew up on the banks of the Red River, and though our careers took us away for many years, the pull of home was always strong. After 18 years of pursuing education and working in physically and mentally demanding fields, we found ourselves relying on a simple joy—a well-made cup of coffee. Over time, this daily ritual became a passion, and we knew we wanted to share it with our community.

The Dream: Building a Coffee Shop for Bossier City

Starting a coffee shop had been a dream of ours for years, but the timing and location never seemed quite right. Between busy work schedules and the challenge of finding the perfect spot, we had to put the dream on hold. But when the opportunity to build in Bossier City finally came, we jumped at it. Coffee on the Red was founded with one simple goal: to provide fresh, high-quality coffee and create a space for the community to gather, relax, work, or just enjoy their day.

Our Passion for Coffee: Fresh, Flavorful, and Perfectly Prepared

At Coffee on the Red, our passion for coffee goes beyond just serving drinks—it’s about crafting an experience. We source the best beans, roast them to perfection, and brew them within just a couple of weeks to ensure you taste the difference. Coffee is a perishable fruit, and treating it as such is what makes each cup exceptional. We take pride in teaching our baristas how to brew coffee properly, texture milk to perfection, and prepare fresh loose-leaf tea. For us, it’s all about the details, because every cup should be an experience worth savoring.

Handcrafted In-House Desserts

To complement our passion for exceptional coffee, we now make all of our desserts in-house. From fresh-baked scones to delightful seasonal treats, every pastry is crafted right here in our kitchen. Our focus is on quality and freshness, ensuring that every bite pairs perfectly with your favorite drink. We’re proud to offer a selection of delicious, homemade desserts made with the same care and dedication we put into our coffee.

Community Matters: A Place to Gather and Grow

As small business owners with years of experience in other fields, we recognized the need for a space in Bossier City where people can come together for meetings, brainstorming sessions, or casual get-togethers. Coffee on the Red is more than just a place to grab a drink; it’s a space for the community to connect, work, and create.

Consistency You Can Count On

We believe that consistency is key when it comes to great coffee. When you walk through our doors, you’ll always know exactly what you’re getting—whether it’s a perfectly brewed espresso, a smooth cold brew, or a seasonal favorite. We’ve spent years perfecting our methods so that every time you visit Coffee on the Red, you get the same great cup, crafted with care and passion.

Join Us in Our Passion for Great Coffee

We’ve put our heart and soul into creating a coffee shop that reflects our passion for great coffee, consistency, and community. Every cup of coffee, every homemade treat, and every interaction is rooted in our commitment to providing the best experience possible. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast, a local professional, or someone looking for a welcoming place to spend your day, we hope Coffee on the Red becomes your new favorite spot. Come in, enjoy a cup, and let us share our passion with you.

  • "This place is a gem! Such a cute little coffee shop with good coffee and tasty pastries. My husband and I both got the drip house coffee and were blown away by the flavor! None of that burnt coffee bean taste here. The sausage kolaches are also out of this world good! Get one - you won't be sorry! They even have cute mugs and t-shirts for sale. We interacted with several staff members and everyone was patient, helpful, friendly, and kind. I would absolutely recommend checking this place out!"
